What is social media marketing?

Social Media Marketing (SMM) is a form of internet marketing which promotes your website / business through social media networks. The idea behind this is to create 'viral' content that can then be promoted through the targeted media channels.

Once other users recognise you as a valuable resource for information, you become more powerful in that community and your bookmarks, articles and submissions take on a greater value than any anonymous contributions.
